According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc., “The issue of breast cancer is painfully close to many people's hearts. Each year, 182,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer and 43,300 die. Almost everyone knows someone whose life has been affected by a breast cancer diagnosis or that of a loved one.”

“Corvettes Against Breast Cancer Ride” is an idea presented by several CSA Foundation members to promote breast cancer awareness and provide a means to raise funds in support of this charitable cause.
